Why we write this
We arrived in Malta for our Erasmus year and hit the accommodation problem immediately. Our first flat was bad enough that we had to move. Eventually we found a good one, and along the way we got quite good at reading this market: which areas are worth the money, which listings are a waste of a message, and which ones are outright scams.
Friends kept hitting the same wall. Some were scammed, others paid well above market price for a room nobody would have taken had they known what the market actually looked like. We started helping them, and that turned into this site.
Erastay is not an agency and does not rent you anything.
